We arrived last night at Southampton - having finished collecting the hire car (a large black Hyundai people carrier with pimped out black windows) and cleaning the house before we left. Stayed at the Novotel overnight as usual, using Accor points. We had fun identifying fellow passengers at dinner.
We seem to have more luggage than usual, no doubt due to extra cases of tonic, ginger ale and lime juice to go with our two-bottles-every-two-weeks Fred Olsen spirit ration.Will save us touring local supermarkets to find further supplies for a while.
Boarding is at 2pm, so we plan to tour the local shopping mall after a late breakfast. Meanwhile, Boudicca has arrived, and the frantic turnaround schedule will begin for the crew!
