Today we arrived at about 8 am- Internet was available on approach so we caught up with electronic life!
We had a tour around on a 3 wheel (electric!) Piaggio scooter for two hours. Great fun, around the old town, fort, new town and of course the fishing village Camara de Lobos where Winston Churchill painted and stayed.
We then had a coffee and watched the world go by.
Blandy's lodge was also visited! I had a 1975 dry Madeira
We had lunch sitting by the Quayside -garlic mushrooms and omlette washed down with the local beer. Outside in the sunshine!
