Today we are moored in the deep harbor port on Phuket Island. It is about 30 minutes drive away from Phuket City where we went for 4 hours by bus on an organized tour. Taxis are an organized cartel here so shuttle buses are not allowed!
Shopping included some cotton shirts, fridge magnet, and another electric fan. Needed, as the outside temperature is over 103 F (see picture).
The port itself is very pretty, but there is not much around, there is a temporary market set up by the side of the ship. We had a Coke and Coffee at Mc Thai (aka Mc Donald's) for the huge sum of about £1.
Our next stop is Sri Lanka.
