Begin with a scenic drive across the island, through coastal towns and St. Pierre city en route to the cattle-rearing area in the plains, passing luscious valleys and lunar landscapes. You will stop at Nez le Boeuf, to admire panoramic views over the volcano ravine and green countryside.
After a short drive, you will reach the Pas de Bellecombe Mountain. Towering at 2,311m-high, you can look down into the active volcanic crater of the Piton de Fournaise Volcano. Next, you will be served a traditional Creole lunch at a local restaurant before concluding your tour with a visit to the volcano museum.
