Arriving New York

Almost at New York ,,

 We arrive very early tomorrow morning. Here are some pictures of the Fog, Our Virtual Reality Titanic Tour (with headsets) and the Parade of Chefs for the last Gala Dinner before NY.

Mid Atlantic

 We crossed the midpoint on the way to Newfoundland and New York.

Here are some random pictures. We have a small room for all the way around the world people, where someone is available to sort out problems (and free tea, coffee, etc.).

Helen did the first washing today, and does the bridge every day. Charles drifts around, with concerts and lectures ....

 We had a send-off with a fireworks display on leaving Southampton. There are lots of rooms around, all very stylish, and on a world cruise, we have our own small lounge up on the top deck.

We saw the show last night, a sort of musical introduction, and had a Gala Dinner. Tonight is the Captain's reception. Lots of free drinks!!

 Small balcony cabin. Boarding not too bad.  Most of the packing is now or away!

Southampton

We came down yesterday in a minibus with only 8 cases. Slightly less than our first cruise with 13! Charles’s brother and his wife came to the Novotel for dinner and we had a good evening.  This morning just some breakfast and final shopping at West Quay where our hotel is.  Queen Mary 2 which is our next small home has arrived and is visible from the hotel.
