We arrived at midday today to warm weather. A small tour to the Capel Pisco distillery and the small city of La. Serena.

A stop off at the market in La Serena. Then on to the local Pisco distillery. To see more booze production and more tasting! Sounds like quite a theme all these grapes and drink to taste!

On to La Vicuna and Plaza Gabriel Mistral. Finally a food stop and some more Pisco sour!

A tour around the city by bus stopping at various tourist spots. Churches and Chilean navy HQ.

Then on to the Casablanca valley and wines - Vina Mar. Speciality is a sparkling wine and white wine as well. Price of the Sparkling was $40 for 6! Then on to the seaside resort to see the beaches and flower clock ...

Puerto Chacabuco - Chile

Today we anchored at Puerto Chacabuco in the southern fjords of Chile. This was another Port with a tender - Helen saw a Chilean Kingfisher on landing!

We took a coach tour past the Ghost Lake. Saw the falls of the Virgin Mary and a small caravan!

Then on to the Rio Simpson and nature reserve. Lots of wild Fuschia and Lupins!
