Off the coast of Africa

 We’re on the the way to Cape Verde. Some life  around the boat.   Here is a distant whale photo!!

Tenerife

 Arrived at midday and did the usual shopping at Ale-Hop. Plus some other bits!

A lovely warm day with three other ships, Saga Discovery, PO Azur and an Aida. Lots of happy tourists!!

 Came in blowing the fog horn. Not much of a view off the bridge over the entrance

Bay of Biscay and formal night

 Crossing the Bay and it’s been a bit bumpy! Last night we had the formal night with the Captain’s cocktail party. 

We ate in a very small dining room on board with only about ten tables - the Australian room. Very nice table for two! Helen is enjoying the vegetarian food and there are extra menus for her as well.

Left Southampton at 6pm last night. We seem to have a very nice dining table in the Australia room which only seats a few people.  Tonight is formal  night. Helen is trying the bridge and Charles the ukulele’s today!

Southampton for the next cruise

 We got picked up by the taxi at 8am. Arrived at the ship just after midday. Boarded fairly quickly (there was an IT failure!) in time for lunch. 

Meanwhile the electricity had tripped out at home and a neighbour kindly reset it for us!!

We are setting off at 6pm.  Next stop is Lisbon.
