At sea

 At sea today. We went to the show last night to see the company on board. Enjoyed that! We had the $10 a day drinks package added to our cards: It gives us unlimited soft drinks  

Lots of nice Christmas decorations on board. Bargains like Lowry prints and Faberge eggs are available to tempt us. Sadly our on board spend budget doesn’t quite make it!

Boarding was delayed as the bridge to the ship had to be moved!

We are now on board heading for Lisbon. We got an Internet package for a day. Formal night tonight!

Southampton

Stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn. 

We can just see the Queen Victoria behind the MSC from our room at the Mayflower Terminal. 

We are in Cabin 5075 with a balcony, twin bed, and extra sofa bed. Lots of storage space! See the Boat Phtoto page for more details.

Southampton arrival back

 Arrived back at 0630.  Breakfast and then off the ship. The cars were parked on the quayside. It only took us a few minutes with trolleys to get in the car, and then drive home!

Off France

 On the way up the Channel we saw some dolphins   Also some pictures of the Yacht Club lounge where we read our books.

 Saw some Dolphins off Cape Finisterre. It was about a force 6 and they were playing in the wake ....

Curry on board QE

 Today we had a curry on board in the evening  

Small Birthday celebration for Charles who seems to have reached 68! We had it with our friends Ian and Julie who last voyaged with us on the Balmoral Far East cruise.
