Some slight swell as we arrived this morning!

In the morning we went into town - nuts and ginger ale. A lack of tonic! There was a sloth in the park.

In the afternoon we did a train trip and small cruise on a river where we saw lots of wildlife.

Panama Canal

Today we went down the Panama Canal from the Pacific to the Caribbean.

We had quite a few people on our balcony for the day as we went through.

Today we took a four hour drive by coach back to Boudicca. We saw a lot of Ecaudor on the way - lots of plantations of tropical fruits in the rainforest. We had a brief stop on the way. Then on to rejoin the ship by lunchtime - time for laundry!

Today we left at 7 AM from the hotel (bit late as someone was hospitalsed, sadly). We stopped off at a couple of sinkholes, and then took a ferry to the airport island(the luggage fits on top).

The craters are a result of a gas hole underneath the lava. Thetree covered with moss is a relative of the sunflower, and has moss to get water from the air

Then a flight to Guyaquil, wherewe stayed at the Palace hotel by the river.
