We got up early - a picture of our Taj Hotel is atached in my last post.

We then went up to the fort at Jaipur. This was done in small Jeeps. Magnificent interior, with all the mirrors. WE then went into Jaipur to the town palace to look around the museum, where they had a pashmina rug dating back to 1630. Then a long drive to Agra after lunch at another palace hotel.

We are now at the Taj Gateway hotel ready to see sunrise at the Taj Mahal tomorrow morning, alarm calls at 5.15 am!

Just leaving for an early start to see the fort, then a long trip onwards. Lovely hotel, Helen stole the razor blades and toothpaste ..... And comb!

City tour of Mumbai

It's a Sunday so relatively quiet! This is a picture of the gateway to India. We have just passed it.

Fair amount of form filling and stamping of papers but not as bad as it could be!

We are doing a city tour prior to the airport. Weather very pleasant, forecast 31C later.

Just arriving in port, it is 6am! We have Vodafone coverage for a while in India. Today we get off the ship and go to Jaipur by plane to see the sights!
