Tenerife

Not much bright sun around, but still quite warm.

We had breakfast in the cabin and then went into town to have a coffee. Chatted to friends, and then lots of bargains were acquired at Ale Hop. Things we never knew we needed!

We hope other guests were not too confused as we were as we imagined the port was in fact our next stop in Gran Canaria!

Three ships in port so quite busy.

Rain came down later in the afternoon!

We are Port with the Costa Firenze.

We tried out the white port and tonic from Lisbon on the balcony. Not too exciting!

At sea

At sea today. We went to the show last night to see the company on board. Enjoyed that! We had the $10 a day drinks package added to our cards: It gives us unlimited soft drinks

Lots of nice Christmas decorations on board. Bargains like Lowry prints and Faberge eggs are available to tempt us. Sadly our on board spend budget doesn’t quite make it!

On board!

Boarding was delayed as the bridge to the ship had to be moved!

We are now on board heading for Lisbon. We got an Internet package for a day. Formal night tonight!

Southampton

Stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn.

We can just see the Queen Victoria behind the MSC from our room at the Mayflower Terminal.

We are in Cabin 5075 with a balcony, twin bed, and extra sofa bed. Lots of storage space! See the Boat Phtoto page for more details.
