Arrival Cruise Terminal 101 Southampton
On the way
Landed at Southampton at about 0630.

Got our hire car at around 10 AM (another people carrier for all the luggage which seems to have grown!).

Another enjoyable cruise, now back to reality - Tesco order arriving at 6 PM!

Friday - Ukulele Concert and Gala Buffet

Today we had the final Ukulele Concert (playing the Kazoo!) and the Gala Buffet at 11PM - we just took photos and went to bed - clocks went forward again tonight.

The weather got better as the day went on - it started as a Force 9.

Volcanic springs for bathing!
Tea Factory
Old equipment made in UK

Drinking tea!
Our last Port on the way home, we have been here before last year. Very pleasant, the weather is fine and we are moored in the middle of town.

Up to the fire lake at the top of the volcano, and then on to the warm volcanic bathing area - quite a smell of sulphur!

Then on to the last tea factory, where we saw some old equipment and drank some!

Rotary Lunch with The Captain

Today Helen organised a lunch with 23 people for Rotarians and Guests - we also had a tour of the Bridge which was very instructive - no paper charts at all! They do have a backup electronic chart!

Bermuda

Arrival was late, due to the bad weather. This meant that we also had to moor at the old Naval Dockyard.

We did a bus tour, seeing Hamilton, George Town, and all points in between. A quick visit to M&S for some tonic water as well. A lovely island, but probably a little too expensive for a holiday!

In The North Atlantic

And it is a Force 9 at time, quite rough seas! Ukulele went ahead, without music stands, and all the furniture on our balcony has been tied up ... this is before some poor man got wet to tie it up!

We have booked three short cruises lasting until 2019, we got one free and with discounts and free upgrades they seem quite reasonable - they have been added to the destinations page.

Bahamas - Freeport

Today we visited Freeport in The Bahamas - of course it is a big port!

We saw Port Lucaya, a beach and visited a perfume factory and small craft shops! An ice cream and Sands Beer was enjoyed by all!

There was quite a lot of Hurricane damage from last year.

Mansion!
