We visited an Apple store on 5th Avenue (no bargains), had a large pizza and saw Paramour at the Lyric theatre.

We took the subway to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and North and South pools. Very moving.

After Breakfast in a Diner we took the Big Bus tour, changing to a ferry to see the water side views!

Took the fast train to Jamaica Station and on to 42nd street for the Intercontineal in Times Square.

Very small plane on Flight BA1 from London City to New York JFK.

The advantage is that we landed for 45 minutes in Shannon (to refuel) where we cleared USA Customs and Immigration in 45 minutes, arriving as domestic customers in Terminal 7 at JFK. A nice Aerobus 318 with only 38 Business seats - entertainment was an IPad!
