Country fair, silly hats and masked ball ......

  • A country fair was organised to raise money for charities, we won a bottle of wine and a keyring, hitting the Officers with a sponge was popular!
  • We wore silly hats ...
  • Masks for the masked ball
  • and finally our fridge magnet collection ..... now finished!

Cool-ish weather with The Peak obscured. Went to M&S and Next and saw the sights- and got the last fridge magnet for our round the world cruise!

Thought the Thai Barge looked really good (They all had to carry cans of coke!).

Valley of the Kings from Safarga

Long drive to Luxor. We visited two tombs in the Valley of the Kings (no photos allowed at all!). Lovely paintings on the tomb walls!

Then on to see some tombs in the village where the workers lived, and their homes. Followed by the temple dedicated to Rameses the Third.
