All the passengers having done the Indian entry formalities,we did a brief coach tour of the City and environs.

It used to be the home of Tipoo sultan, and there were Portuguese and English remains.

We looked at the city and also an old fort guarding the old port (ours is the new one which has all the cranes and containers!).
