To those who have asked, yes we are not on the map. This is because we have been on dangerous waters, but the armed guards have mostly left, and we still have a razor wire decoration around the ship!
Tomorrow morning we reach Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. We have a brief shore tour organized, and then on to Dubai.
Yesterday we reached Muscat in Oman. Because of the timings, we did a free bust trip to the Souk. I had some left over Omani money, so we of course got a local fridge magnet, and some coasters for a bedside cupboards.
We then went to the show, which was medley of all the acts we had for this part of the voyage.
We went to look at the Gala Buffet (but not eat!). This was at 1115 pm. Very impressive array of carved food, faces, ice sculptures etc. The pictures are included in this posting.
