 We got up for a city tour and lunch, returning to the ship by 3pm.

 Today we took a flight to Buenos Aires. Then stayed at the Doubletree with a Tango show in the evening. Back by 1am !!!

Iguaza falls in Brazil

 We flew to Iguaza airport from Rio  We are in a fine old colonial hotel - the Hotel de Caratas. It’s a short walk to see some of the falls. We’re not allowed out late due to the wild animals!!!

Rio first day

 Today we had a look around Rio.

 Tonight we got the last sighting of Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS).

Stargazing

 Tonight we did some star gazing on the upper deck. Different view in the southern hemisphere!

 King Neptune took control and some officers got thrown in ….

Flying fish

 Though whales, dolphines, and even sharks and turtles have been spotted, we have seen flying fish!!

Cape Verde

 Today we went on an organised tour around the island of Santiago. Bananas, a rum distillers and few kingfishers. Very volcanic island. 

Off the coast of Africa

 We’re on the the way to Cape Verde. Some life  around the boat.   Here is a distant whale photo!!

Tenerife

 Arrived at midday and did the usual shopping at Ale-Hop. Plus some other bits!

A lovely warm day with three other ships, Saga Discovery, PO Azur and an Aida. Lots of happy tourists!!
